  3. Two formats may be used with the BBcopy Re-dist server.
  4.  
  5. The REDIST compatible format will require you to address your (P)ersonal
  6. message to the following addresses:
  7.  
  8.      Address                                To Flood              @Address
  9. LOCBBS@ThisBBS.#lan.hroute.             This BBS only             W1NPR
  10. LOCAL@ThisBBS.#lan.hroute.              Nearby BBSs / Lan etc.    SRQLAN
  11. REGION@ThisBBS.#lan.hroute.             State/Province/Etc.       FLBBS
  12. LOCBBS@ThisBBS.#lan.hroute.             Country the BBS is in     ALLUSA
  13.  
  14. All REDIST type messages will be (B)ulletins and addressed to ALL by default.
  15. To alter the TO address Enter the desired address at the beginning of the
  16. Subject/Title line prefixed with an # as in
  17. #USER Regular Subject of message
  18. This will cause the message to be addressed to USER@Address with the Subject
  19. as the remaining part of the title line.

  21. To use the more flexible BBcopy format, messages should be sent to
  22.  
  23. BBcopy@Thisbbs  with a regular Subject/Title line
  24.  
  25. The Originating user's Subject/Title will follow in the reproduced messages.
  26. Both (P) & (T) messages will be reproduced, any other type will be sent as (P)
  27. except when using (B)ulletin option below.

  29. The Full text as well as the full Copy to: distribution list will be in the
  30. reproduced messages **** unless the option below is used ****.

  32. The message to BBcopy will be killed, a return message will be sent to the
  33. original user telling of the distribution
  34.  
  35. Users should send a message to BBcopy@Thisbbs and MUST include as the very
  36. last lines, after all text trailers ect. the following words exactly as the
  37. first words on a line as follows upper or lower case will work ":" is needed
  38.  
  39. Copy to:
  40.  
  41. Followed by the stations who are to receive the message, one to a line.
  42.  
  43. If complete addresses are available provide them although when REBBS
  44. does a normal Hlookup they should be addressed OK if the stations are known in
  45. the distribution BBS's Hlookup.bb file
  46.  
  47. An @BBS is a requirement even if the messages will be @W1NPR
  48.

  60. If you use "Copy text to:" instead of Copy to: then only the text will be
  61. copied into the messages, otherwise the Copy to: list will also be sent.

  73. If you use "Copy bulletin to:" instead of Copy to: then one (1) copy of the
  74. message will be copied as a Bulletin to the first address on the list. In all
  75. other cases all messages will be "P" The Copy bulletin to: list will not be
  76. sent.
  77. Valid flood designators for this BBS are ALLUSA, USBBS, SRQLAN, CCLAN, NEBBS

  85. Note, This will allow you to send a bulletin for local distribution to
  86. a distant BBS as a (P) message so it will not be left & read at each BBS
  87. along the way.
